Temperance Lightweight Trainer, 420J2 Satin unsharpened blade, molded gray FRN handle

The original Temperance fixed blade served as a utilitarian tool and a proud member of Spyderco's “Martial Blade Craft” (MBC) knife family. To facilitate safe practice, we developed a trainer version with a blunt edge and point. This Sprint Run edition revives that concept, featuring a blunted 420J2 stainless steel blade, and flat ground with weight-simulating holes. Its bright red FRN handle clearly marks it as a training tool. Complete with a dedicated Boltaron sheath and G-Clip, it's an ideal companion for students of defensive knife tactics.

Sprint Runs
A Spyderco Sprint Run is defined as a limited edition production of any Spyderco product in a configuration different than what has been previously produced. It can include changes in the handle color, materials, blade steel, coatings, etc.

The quantity of each Sprint Run is generally 600 or 1,200 pieces, which is determined by Spyderco.
