Tuscan is a multi-role knife that can be completely at ease in any type of environment. This knife stands out in military and tactical fields for its versatility in various contexts, from surveillance and patrol operations to combat scenarios. Its adaptability also makes it ideal for urban areas where it is necessary to move quickly and with agility. At the same time, Tuscan lends itself perfectly to outdoor, survival and bushcraft use.

A new version of Tuscan is now available, Tuscan S600 Black, made of Böhler S600 steel with a hardness of 64 HRC.

The great success achieved by our products in S600 steel and the requests of our passionate customers have led us to expand the range of available materials for Tuscan, now offering a version in S600, which is appreciated for its extraordinary performance and its hardness.

Böhler S600 (64 HRC) steel is used for manufacturing metalwork and stamp-creation tools.

The high content of molybdenum, tungsten, and a good presence of vanadium in its chemical composition provide excellent qualities of hardness, wear resistance and toughness. The presence of cobalt stimulates the growth of small uniformly distributed carbides, a feature that further improves wear resistance. Tuscan S600 Black is hardened and cryogenically treated, thus reaching an exceptional hardness of 64 HRC; this makes it very resistant to wear and gives the edge a lasting sharpening. Böhler S600 has 4.5% of chrome, which makes it oxidizable. For this reason, Extrema Ratio has chosen the new EXP DARK Teflon-based finish. Tuscan is extremely easy to handle.

It is characterized by a full tang blade lightened in several points beneath the handle (including a hole positioned in its center). This allows you to move the weight of the knife towards the tip, thus increasing the impact force and facilitating chopping and batoning operations. The blade allows you to carry out such different operations thanks to its particular grinding, thinner near the handle and thicker at the tip. While the tip area lends itself to chopping and batoning, the part near the handle is perfect for cutting.

Unlike grinding, the sharpening on the entire blade remains homogeneous. The pommel can also be used as a glass breaker.

The green handle consists of two ergonomic scales with a new original Extrema Ratio design made of G10. This new handle allows you to use Tuscan comfortably with both standard and reverse grip; it is suitable for use by operators equipped with both gloves and without.

The ambidextrous Cordura sheath is equipped with a thigh strap for fixing it to the side, and M.O.L.L.E system webbings for wearing it on tactical vests and generic belts.
