VULKANUS KNIFE SHARPENER- the first that really works!

The issue Knife Sharpening is as old as the knife history and permanently actual. There are enough knife sharpeners, but none convinced.

The judgement of professional and private user is often: … too complicated, a waiting game, bad sharpening result, eyesore drag mark at the blade, unsuitable for many knives, too expensive…etc.

Harald Stallegger, Boker stockist from Salzburg/ Austria was very busy with this issue and had developed and patented a new and unique system.

The solution: Flexible stocked carbide bars (with carbon fiber enhanced polyamides) that are solid in contact with every blade. Two different angles between blade and sharpening bars yield two grinding steps.

1. Knife sharpening with distinct material erosion (knife tip down while sharpening) and
2. Deduction (fine deflash) of the edge (knife tip up while sharpening)

The result is perfect. Even the untrained get a sharp edge within minutes.

Thanks to the folding function the VULKANO can be carried in every pocket. The handling is extremely easy, ideal for outdoors.
