Five Point Nine

With a blade length of less than 6 cm, the eponymous Böker Plus Five Point Nine is well under the 12 cm permitted by the German Weapons Act (WaffG) and can be carried as a fixed-blade knife within the bounds of what is permitted. The robust full-tang construction and proven features, including a 440C drop-point blade with a stonewash finish and convex handle scales made of light brown Micarta, demonstrate that this small powerhouse is no match for its larger counterparts. Thomas Krug, a full-time custom tattoo artist from Germany, not only demonstrates a fine touch with his needle, but also incorporates his sense of aesthetics into the design of this fixed-blade knife. Striking jimping lines line the spine of the blade and the rear of the handle for exceptional feel and control, while the screwed handle scales feature gill-like indentations. The blade shape and features make the Five Point Nine the ideal backup knife or neck knife for everyday carry. It features a lanyard hole for attaching lanyards and a custom-fit Kydex sheath.
