Fudo Gendai Universal Hocho

The blade’s core is made of VG10, one of the best knife steels currently on the market. It is very corrosion resistant, very hard with an HRC of 60 and has a long-lasting edge retention. The core is protected by 33 layers of damask steel on each side. This makes 67 layers in total. The handle is made of elegant ebony wood, jaws and pommel are made of stainless steel. Ebony wood is one of the most valuable types of wood. It is very robust which makes it impervious to external influences. Due to the traditional chestnut form of the handle, it offers a secure and ergonomical grip.
