This model proudly combines the best qualities of the lightweight Sage 5 platform with the unparalleled edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance of CPM-MagnaCut steel. Full-flat ground for optimal edge geometry, its blade is supported by a precision-machined Compression Lock mechanism and a handle injection molded from vibrant yellow fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN). The handle includes threaded inserts that allow the wire pocket clip to be mounted on both sides of the handle to support all end users. And, like all the Salt Series folders, the handle hardware of this knife is crafted exclusively from ultra-corrosion-resistant materials.
