A high performance Damascus steel (300 layers), forged from the cannon tube of the battle tank Leopard I. The Damascus smith introduced: “By a fluke I own cannon tubes of the Leopard I. tank. This steel cannot be bought and a material number is not available because of its military utilization. I relished and tried this steel for my Damascus steel production. I combined the enormous wear-resistant cannon tube steel with a chrome-, manganese- and vanadium alloyed tool steel with high carbon contend. The quality was very impressive. The blade has a HRC of 65, very hard for Damascus steel and is additional very tough. A real performance Damascus steel!”
A very beautiful „Little pyramid“ pattern appeared nicely at the Damascus steel. This worldwide exceptional Damascus steel is only available at Boker. The Leopard Damascus steel blade suits ideal to the new HELIOS model with hard-coat anodized 6061-T6 aluminum scale, olive made from zirikote wood.
