Distinguishable from a simple bascinet by its reinforced brow, flared neck guard, and lacking a visor, this helmet was favored by archers who required unimpaired vision in order to effectively aim their bows. This visor-less sallet was especially used by bowman. Featuring a median ridge with a brow reinforce, this rugged piece is crafted in 16ga. steel. A full leather suspension and chinstrap are fitted.
