Ikusa Exhibition Fight Katana

The hand-forged blade is made of 9260 carbon spring steel. In addition to a rounded tip the massive blade features a strong 2mm thick edge. The extra long-held tang is especially fixed with 2 Bamboo sticks in the handle.

The handle is wrapped with black cotton in traditional katate-maki-style (war wrapping) and lined with genuine ray skin.

These swords are for beginners and advanced users equally suitable. The swords of Class 2 feature a blade made ​​of high carbon steel. These blades changes their surfaces barely while hard contact. The pommels are riveted at the end of the tang.
