Roland Warzecha and Tobias Wenzel familiarize this way of fighting to the viewer on this DVD. Based on medieval fencing manuscripts and years of martial arts practice, the authors provide the essential basics. To these belong the anatomical and physical regularities and the tactical approach and fencing theory.

Step by step, the relevant concepts were elucidated and demonstrated by using historical techniques. Appropriate protective equipment and weapon simulators for training and sparring will be presented. Finally sequences of free fencing of the authors convey an impression of an sporting employment of historical Buckler Fencing techniques.
