Medieval Flail

Simple flail with two chains. A feared weapon which required more strength than fighting techniques. It was often used in revolts by farmers because it could be made out of simple materials. Our model is a more sophisticated specimen other types had wooden balls or wooden pieces reinforced with ils. Flails were used throughout the middle ages until the 18th century.
