Historical kukri knife

The kukri (or khukuri, khukri etc.) and its use as both a weapon of war and a tool for survival are legendary. It's typically forged from high carbon steel and heat treated using the simplest of methods (just pouring water over the hot blade). The basic design and construction of the kukri has remained unchanged for centuries.
