Wilderness Survival Shovel

A shovel's main purpose is to dig. This doesn't mean that it can't do other things. Enter the Wilderness Survival Shovel, which features a welded backplate which makes the entire head virtually indestructible, like nothing else on the market right now. The welded backplate also serves as a point for pounding, as does the tip of the handle. The two sides feature a strong chisel ground edge that can be filed sharp, for chopping or pounding. The steps are facing towards the back for a more flattened, compact package. This shovel is smaller than other shovels, to fit in a pack, or store inside a vehicle easily. Includes an American ash wood handle and canvas MOLLE compatible sheath.

Joe holds a degree in Zoology with a minor in Entomology and researches heavily into all things outdoors. Joe Flowers teaches fitness, martial arts, organizes youth camps, and hosts outdoor skills and survival classes around the US. Joe is an avid naturalist, hunter, fisherman, herpetologist, videographer, beekeeper, knife thrower, guide, and regularly travels internationally in search of knife knowledge and unique animals. You can find Condor on Joe's side when he is deep in the Amazonian rainforest, or high in the deserts of Utah.
