Es ist unglaublich, in jedem Baseball Spiel brechen 8-10 Baseballschläger durch und verletzen beinahe sogar die Spieler. Cold Steels Präsident, Lynn C. Thompson, konnte das nicht so stehen lassen und hat einen Baseballschläger entwickelt der nahezu unkaputtbar ist. Aus festem aber auch biegsamen Polypropylen sind die beiden Schläger hergestellt. Der Brooklyn Smasher und der Brooklyn Crusher unterscheiden sich nur in Bezug das Gewicht und die Gesamtlänge.
